A MAN has been bashed while walking home along a Narre Warren bike track in the early hours of the morning on Sunday.
The victim was walking on the bike track between Parkhill Drive and the Monash Freeway around 3.30am when he was ambushed by five men who demanded he hand over his property.
When he refused, the attackers, described as middle-eastern in appearance, punched and kicked the victim.
He was later taken to Casey Hospital where he was treated for injuries.
