A PEN gun as well as drug paraphernalia were found by police when they intercepted a car in Berwick last week.
In the early hours of Tuesday 24 February, police approached the car in Lyall Road and spoke to the male occupants who were alleged to be acting suspiciously.
Police searched the car and found drug gear as well as a pen gun and arrested a 20-year-old man from Seaford who they charged with firearms offences.
The man is scheduled to appear in the Dandenong Magistrates’ Court at a later date.
