LIVE music is on the menu every Friday night at Ashscotts Restaurant in Berwick. Specialising in Italian food, Ashscotts Restaurant is recognised as having the largest alfresco dining area in Berwick.
Chef and owner Rommel Sihombing has been in the business for more than 25 years including experience in five star restaurants and fine dining hotels in Melbourne.
These include the five-star Grand Hyatt, Regent Hotel, Park Royal Hotel and the Rialto hotel, as well as at Maxim’s Restaurant, High Society, and at Mietas Restaurant at the Como Centre, South Yarra.
He took over the reins at Ashscotts four years ago.
“We offer a high level of professional quality food and service, so our customers can really love their dining experience,” he said.
The fully licensed venue offers daily meal specials, a wide range of spirits, beers, wines cocktails, mocktails, smoothies and milkshakes and a menu spilling over with more than 60 dishes from around the world.
“Eye fillet steak, chicken champagne and lobster mornay are some of our most ordered dishes,” Mr Sihombing said.
Ashscotts Restaurant caters for a fun and delicious Friday night out and will also take care of functions, weddings and parties from the food to the entertainment.
“It has long been our dream to build a restaurant which boasts an up-beat atmosphere, value for money and attention to detail,” Mr Sihombing said.
Ashscotts Restaurant is open weekdays from noon until late and 8am until late on weekends.
It is situated at 104 High Street, Berwick, and bookings can be made online or over the phone on 9707 5900.
