THERE’S a healthier way to travel to school.
This was proved to students from Fleetwood Primary School in Narre Warren last Friday when they were encouraged to ride, walk, scoot or skate to work to celebrate National Ride2School Day.
The children from Fleetwood made sure they had their bikes and scooters ready for Friday.
Bicycle Network’s Ride2School Program supports more than 2000 schools across Australia to develop a healthy active-travel culture.
The program is funded by the State Government and aims to increase the number of students actively travelling to school all year around.
