Armed robbers flee on foot

TWO men described as African in appearance have attempted an armed robbery at a grocery store in Doveton.
On Monday 16 March the attendant noticed two men enter the store along Autumn Place, Doveton between 11pm and 12pm.
The males returned again around 1.40pm with weapons and allegedly threatened the attendant and demanded he hand over cash. The cashier handed over an amount of money following which the men fled on foot towards Power Street.
The Dandenong EMBONA taskforce is investigating the incident.
