Scouting for support

I HAD a young nine-year-old girl come to my door selling raffle tickets for the Narre Warren South Scouts recently.
The young girl’s mother informed me that they do their scouts out of the Oakgrove community centre and they would like nothing more than to have their own scout hall.
I informed them to contact our local councillors for the Springfield Ward and hopefully they will support this wonderful group of scouts.
We complain that kids are always staying indoors on computers and on mobile phones.
I say let’s get behind the Narre Warren scouts and find them a place they can call home.
Rex Flannery,
Narre Warren South.
