A Cranbourne boy was arrested by police after he allegedly tried to break into a property along Memorial Drive, Narre Warren North.
Police said the young man attempted to break in to the property about 1.45am on Thursday 2 April but the occupants called police before he had the chance to enter.
Police said he was in possession of stolen property and has been charged with aggravated burglary as well as theft.
He is scheduled to appear at Dandenong Magistrates’ Court.
