POLICE have clocked a Mercedes travelling almost 40 kilometres over the speed limit in Narre Warren on Thursday night.
The rare Mercedes V12 was recorded travelling at 129km/h in an 80km/h zone on Heatherton Road about 8pm on Thursday 23 April.
A Narre Warren South man is expected to be charged on summons with dangerous driving and driving while suspended.
The Mercedes, worth more than $400,000, has been impounded.
