Art and Floral Show
PAINTINGS, photography, sculpture and floral art will all be on show at the St John’s Cranbourne Art and Floral Show, with 25 per cent of sales going towards the St John’s Community Hall Project.

Netball clinics
ASPIRING netballers can take their skills to the court with a term two netball clinics running every Thursday at the Cranbourne Indoor Sports for boys and girls aged seven and above.

CHITTY Chitty Bang Bang stars David Hobson and Rachael Beck will reunite in Dandenong next month.

Open Gardens Australia
FOR the last time a part of the Open Gardens Australia, which ceases in June 2015 after 27 years. The Warrawee Gardens situated on two acres and surrounded by bush is open to the public.

Ageing positively
A DEMENTIA and caring program designed for carers and family members of those living at home with the disease. Held over three weeks, the program covers dementia symptoms, how to positively manage changes and discusses how the disease can affect carers and family members.

Compost workshop
ON AVERAGE food makes up half of the rubbish thrown out and in the two hour workshop residents will learn how to compost food scraps instead of throwing them away. The session will cover composting using various types of compost bins, worm farms and bokashi buckets.

Blokes talk workshop

Recycling tour
TAKE a tour to follow your recycling. First stop is the Materials Recovery Facility where the City of Casey’s kerbside recycling is sorted. Next stop is a tour of the Visy box factory to learn more about recycling household material into new products and the last stop is Replas to see the recycling of soft plastics, such as plastic bags and cling wrap from special collections at places like supermarkets. Lunch, drinks and snacks are provided. The bus tour will depart and return to the City of Casey Civic Centre. Participants must be over 18 to attend.
