A PAKENHAM Upper man was rushed to The Alfred hospital with significant injuries after falling head first through the roof of a Narre Warren bowling alley on the weekend.
The man fell from inside the roof of Oz Tenpin, in Lauderdale Road, and onto a lolly machine inside the venue around 11pm on Saturday night.
Detective Senior Sergeant John Bergin said the man, believed to have been intoxicated, climbed into the roof space of the bowling alley from the female toilets and crawled along until the roof gave way.
Police are investigating whether the man was refused entry to a nearby nightclub prior to the incident.
