Melodi’s quick thinking

NARRE Warren youngster Medodi Simsek is a Victorian Junior Triple Zero Hero.
Melodi, 11, rang triple-zero when her mum, who has an existing brain-related condition, started experiencing blurry eyesight and headaches.
Worried about her mum, Medodi picked up the family phone and explained her mum’s symptoms to the triple-zero operator, who dispatched an ambulance.
Melodi recieved her Junior Triple Zero Hero award from Emergency Services Minister Jane Garrett and guest presenter, comedian Dave Hughes on Wednesday.
