Burglars strike

POLICE are investigating two residential burglaries that occurred in a Berwick street on the same day last week.
The two separate houses, in Casey Drive, were both ransacked on Tuesday 12 May after offenders jemmied opened the windows and side doors to gain entry to the properties.
The first burglary is believed to have taken place between 1pm and 8pm, while the second occurred between 6pm and 7.45pm.
