Late night assault

A BERWICK man has been hit from behind in a frightening late night assault while he was walking home.
The man was walking along Parkhill Drive in Berwick when he was attacked from behind allegedly by a group of men just after 2am on Sunday 24 May.
The offenders are said to have made demands for cash but the victim managed to run away.
The Embona Taskforce is investigating the incident and urges anyone with information to come forward.
