An ‘ugly duckling lesion’ on the upper arm which was identified as an early melanoma.

Beware the ‘ugly duckling lesion’.
If a pigmented lesion on skin looks different to all the others and just doesn’t seem to fit in it is called an ‘ugly duckling’.
It may be a melanoma so anyone who finds one is urged to get it checked as soon as possible.
