Quality job-oriented training

WITH all the horror stories of late about private Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) and dodgy practices, it would be timely to inform the community about the local college providing high quality training courses and highly regarded qualifications.
At Living and Learning Inc., students can rely on receiving a quality educational experience.
The holistic approach to education means that success for all students is maximised and the rate of employment for graduating students is around 95 per cent.
Living and Learning Inc. is a community RTO, delivering nationally recognised training for qualifications in aged care, home and community care, disability, English for migrants and literacy and numeracy courses for adults.
Also a community centre and located centrally in Pakenham, Living and Learning is a hive of activity, providing a myriad of other educational activities as well.
In offering qualification courses, Living and Learning prides itself on ensuring each student receives not only the information that they need to qualify, but that they are fully supported all the way through.
The staff believe in setting students up for success, so prospective students are provided with comprehensive information about the course and possible career paths, prior to enrolment.
The training staff are all highly qualified and have many years’ experience both working in their field as well as in training.
Student progress is carefully monitored by staff, and students have access at all times to our student well-being officer, should they feel they need additional support.
Classes are kept deliberately small, between 10 and 15 people. This enables the training staff to ensure each student receives maximum classroom support, and that they get to know each student well.
For work placements, Living and Learning has established a network of local organisations to provide opportunities to students.
For Living and Learning, success is measured by the steady stream of happy and confident graduating students who regularly exit training, ready to embark upon a new career.
With enrolments currently being taken for Term 3, the staff encourage you to come and experience the difference of a permanently based quality RTO, preferred by employers.
