Novelty cake decorating
IMPROVE your cake decorating skills or just have some fun with friends. Each week there is something new and exciting to learn including cupcake decorating, sugar cookie decorating, covering a dummy round cake with basic decorations and creating sugar flowers.

CFA fire safety workshop
LEARN some tips and tricks to reduce fire risks this winter. Statistics show accidents, lack of awareness and negligence cause majority of house fires. CFA’s ‘Reduce the Risk Workshops’ give residents the opportunity to identify strategies to reduce fire risks around their home. Areas covered include common causes of house fires, how to prevent and reduce your risk of a house fire, how to develop your personal home fire escape plan, smoke alarm maintenance and fire extinguisher and fire blanket use.

Thai cooking classes
RECIPES will be shared by Kate, who is from northern Thailand, and participants will learn recipes and shortcuts to some of Kate’s favourite meals. Thai entrees, curries, stir fries and special family recipes will be shared and eaten by the group or taken home. All dishes include traces of nuts. The hands-on classes go for four weeks. All ingredients are included in the cost.

Play bridge
U3A Cranbourne is looking for more people to play bridge and join its memoirs class which teaches participants how to collate past memories.

Cooking with dad
THE Cook it With Dad program is an opportunity for fathers and children to cook together.
They can learn how to cook healthy meals with dad, spend some quality time together and strengthen their relationship as they meet other families and learn life skills as a team.

Make your own moisturiser
FACE and body moisturiser workshop will teach the method of preparing and combining all natural ingredients to create a healthy face and body moisturiser. Each participant will take home a jar of each moisturiser they make along with the recipes. Ingredients will be available on the day to purchase for your convenience to be able to make at home. Cost includes all materials.

Free hearing tests
BETTER Hearing Australia will offer free consultations and hearing tests in Lynbrook to help people who suffer from hearing loss to better manage their condition.
The not-for-profit organisation provides hearing tests, hearing screenings, understanding hearing test results and advice on managing hearing loss or tinnitus.
Better Hearing Australia (Vic) also runs the Victorian Hearing Aid Bank where eligible people can access free hearing aids.

Crystals workshop
THE crystals workshop will teach participants about the energy of crystals. The course covers how to use the healing properties of crystals, how to do chakra balancing, working with a pendulum, gem essences and the elixir of the crystals. The classes will also teach how to cleanse and recharge crystals for maximum results.

Walk the centre
CRANBOURNE Park offers health walks where participants are taken by a qualified instructor from the YMCA.
Registrations can be taken on the day, and participants are encouraged to wear loose fitting clothes and comfortable walking shoes.

Girls’ night out
