Capture is on the cards

A BRAZEN burglar was clearly not thinking straight when he broke into a Narre Warren auto store and stole a number of gift cards that hadn’t yet been activated.
But the thief made up for it afterwards when he broke into several other stores in Hallam and Hampton Park, making off with tools and cash on Monday 20 July in the space of an hour.
The offender broke into Supa Cheap Auto on Webb Street about 5.15am by smashing a window and went on to steal a number of gift cards.
He then broke into two businesses on Hallam South Road and stole a set of bolt cutters and cash.
Around 6am he broke into another business on Sommerville Road in Hampton Park, stealing more cash.
The offender may be using an old Mitsubishi.
