Would-be thieves arrested after crash

TWO men who allegedly attempted to steal a Narre Warren family’s car from their home were involved in a crash soon after and arrested by police.
The occupants of the Duncraig Court house heard a noise from the garage just after midnight on Tuesday 4 August, and when they went to investigate they saw two Sudanese men trying to break into a car.
When the offenders realised they’d been seen, they ran out of the garage and into a waiting car.
It’s understood that the car was involved in a crash later that morning which led to the two men being arrested and remanded in custody.
