Young aim for the best

CALLING all young achievers in the City of Casey.
Nominations for the 2016 Victorian Young Achiever Awards are now open and Narre Warren North MP Luke Donnellan has called upon local residents to throw the names of potential candidates into the ring.
He said there were many young achievers in Casey who deserved state-wide recognition.
“Every day young people in Casey from all walks of life are making significant contributions to our community’s future,” Mr Donnellan said.
“I strongly encourage you to get online and nominate one of the many young achievers doing their part in our community to make a difference and improve the lives of others.
“Through creativity, skills and hard work, young people are addressing some of our toughest challenges – they are leading the way for making our area a welcome place.”
The Victorian Young Achiever Awards acknowledge and encourage young Victorians aged up to 29.
In 2016 the awards will recognise the achievements of young people across 11 categories ranging from arts and fashion to community service and leadership.
Nominations are now open and close on 11 December 2015, with the winners announced at a Gala Presentation Dinner next year.
