Brazen theft

IN the space of 10 minutes an unknown offender has opened and climbed through a bedroom window in Doveton, stolen a laptop computer and escaped.
The victim had been using the laptop, turned off the light and left the room at 10.10pm on Thursday 1 October at a property on Ti Tree Drive, Doveton.
When the victim returned at 10.20pm they noticed their sliding window was open and the laptop missing.
At the time of the burglary five people were home but no-one was injured.
Police are still investigating the burglary and anyone with information is urged to contact the Casey Crime Investigation Unit on 9705 3114 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
