All types of Fords flock together

THE Casey All Ford Car Show is off to a flying start.
Rotary Club of Narre Warren held the inaugural event at Cranbourne Racecourse on Sunday 25 October,
“Getting a new fund-raising event happening is really hard,” Rotarian Phillip McMillan said.
“But off the ground it is and the Casey All Ford Car Show is off to a flying start.”
About 150 cars took part and three car clubs attended.
“The feedback we had from talking to the car clubs and the car people there was that they were glad to see a Ford event this side of town,” Mr McMillan said.
“We were a little disappointed in the number of public attending the event, but most of the marketing was concentrated on cars this year as without cars you don’t have a show.”
He said there was now a solid event management plan to run the event in the future.
“This will enable us to make improvements and get the marketing out much earlier next year and plan for an event about double this size,” he said.
