Two injured in three-car pile-up

TWO people were rushed to hospital after a three-car crash in Narre Warren North on Sunday.
Police believe a Toyota ute was travelling south on the wrong side of Belgrave-Hallam road, between Heatherton and Horswood roads, when it crashed head-on into a silver Ford sedan about 3.15pm.
The Toyota then crashed into a third car, a Ford ute, which was towing a horse float.
The driver of the Ford sedan, a 23-year-old Narre Warren North woman, was airlifted to the Royal Melbourne Hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the Toyota, a 21-year-old Wheelers Hill man, was taken to the Dandenong Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the Ford utility, a 23-year-old woman from Selby, was uninjured.
Casey Highway Patrol officers want to speak to the occupants of a fourth unidentified car which it’s believed narrowly avoided being hit by the Toyota just before the three car pile-up.
