MORE than 600 people, including a lot of young families, have celebrated the grand opening of the Clarinda Park Display Village at Cranbourne on Saturday.
The opening, which featured a family fun day, was a chance to enjoy food and entertainment as well as a jumping castle, balloon artist, face painting, photo booth and petting zoo.
The day featured hot food and then ice-cream as well as roving jazz band adding to the festive atmosphere.
However the main attraction on the day were the 27 display homes on show from 16 well-known and popular builders including Fairhaven, Simonds, Metricon, Eight Homes, Ashford Homes, Burbank, Watersun, Highview Homes, Kialla Homes, Bevnol, Botanic Homes, East West Homes, Frenken, Newhaven Edge, Beachwood and Australian Building Company.
The display village will now be open seven days a week and each open display home showcases the latest in modern home designs and inclusions for those looking for their dream home.
Saturday also saw the launch of release 10 – 47 prime land allotments for sale, located near parks, shopping centre, the state primary school and community facilities.
With a wide variety of frontages and lot sizes there is much to choose from in this popular estate. But be quick. People are snapping up the opportunity to live at Clarinda Park, with the previous stage nine selling out on the opening weekend.
