CASEY Central Chemmart must be taking the right medicine after being named the Victorian Chemmart Pharmacy of the Year for a record fifth time.
Co-proprietors Carolyn Wynen and Zoltan Toskov travelled to Vietnam recently to accept the award at the National Conference on behalf of other co-proprietors Lynette Calabrese, Chris Kelly, Anthony Tassone, and the rest of the team.
“We are proud to have served our local community for 15 years and provided quality, accessible healthcare to them every day,” Mrs Wynen said.
“The wellbeing of our customers is extremely important to us and it’s heartening to be recognised for our efforts to create a healthier community.”
The win comes on the back of the pharmacy’s national award win in 2014.
Mrs Wynen said the award was a pleasant surprise given the pharmacy had to relocate to a smaller, temporary site this year while Casey Central Shopping Centre was being redeveloped.
“It certainly has been a challenging year but we are very grateful for the strong, loyal support of our customers during the centre re-development,” she said.
