AN 18-YEAR-OLD driver has been caught doing a burn-out in front of his old Hampton Park high school while a police car was driving behind him.
The Hallam teenager was driving past Hampton Park Secondary College in his blue Honda Prelude just after 9am on Thursday 28 January when police say he skidded the car to impress some mates.
But the driver and his male passengers didn’t notice the Cranbourne police divisional van driving behind them.
The teenager had his car impounded for 30 days and will be charged on summons with traffic offences.
