Book a rubbish pick-up

THE City of Casey now offers online booking for hard rubbish collections to complement its pre-booked service.
Casey Mayor Sam Aziz said council residents could pre-book up to two hard rubbish collections per household each calendar year.
To book, visit www.casey.vic.gov.au to complete the online form or phone Cleanaway on 9729 9100.
Book by 5 pm Wednesday for a hard rubbish collection the following week.
An SMS reminder is sent on the Friday prior to the collection.
All hard rubbish should be placed out for collection by Sunday night on the weekend before the scheduled week of collection.
Residents must advise if mattresses, green waste or tyres will be placed out for collection at the time of booking.
“The alternative booking method will provide greater efficiency for users who will be able to go online 24 hours a day, seven days a week, every day of the year, to book in timely collections to suit their household,“ Cr Aziz said.
