Slash wounds after nightclub brawl

A BRAWL which started inside a popular Narre Warren nightclub spilled onto the street where several youths were slashed with broken bottles.
A group of men, aged in their early twenties, were kicked out of the Empire Nightclub on Lauderdale Road about 2.40am on Sunday 31 January after being involved in a fight.
Another fight broke out between the same men on nearby Verdun Drive, where four of the youths were attacked with broken bottles by two others.
Three of the men were taken to hospital with slash wounds, while a fourth was treated at the scene.
Security from the nightclub had to break up the second fight.
It’s believed the youths are known to police.
Anyone with information is urged to contact Detective Sergeant Angela Butler at Casey CIU on 9705 3111, or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
