FOOTBALL fans flocked to Narre Warren this week.
Local residents were invited to a fun-filled footy clinic at Sweeney Reserve on Wednesday 10 February which was hosted by the Melbourne Football Club in conjunction with Casey Council and AFL Victoria.
The Melbourne players, including Women’s Captain Daisy Pearce, ran a range of activities for the kids as part of the aptly titled Festival of Footy.
“In recognition and celebration of council’s 30-year partnership with the Melbourne Football Club, the club delivers many great business, sport and community development activities across the municipality for the benefit of the local community,” Casey Mayor Sam Aziz said.
“The inaugural Casey Festival of Footy promises to be an afternoon of fun.”
