Anti-violence special run

PEOPLE run for a number of reasons.
To keep fit, to feel the adrenaline, and to chase the footy.
But last weekend many people came to Berwick to run as a means of campaigning to stop violence against women.
The Berwick Springs Parkrun Group held a special event last Saturday 20 February to raise awareness about the White Ribbon campaign.
While the Berwick Springs parkrun members meet every weekend for a sprint around the lake, they were determined to make this weekend extra special.
Star News photographer STEWART CHAMBERS dropped by the event to take photos of all the runners in action. 150297
