Dairy benefits drilled in

By LACHLAN MOORHEAD

BERWICK Primary School students are on the ‘moove’.
The school is gearing up to send their life-sized fibreglass cow ‘Hilda’ on a special excursion to the big smoke this week, as part of the 2016 Melbourne Food and Wine Festival.
Hilda is part of the Picasso Cows program, a Dairy Australia classroom initiative which aims to help kids discover the health and nutritional benefits of dairy foods.
As part of the program, students were tasked with painting their ‘blank canvas’ cow according to three curriculum-linked themes.
The Berwick Primary School cow is one of just a handful of Picasso Cows selected for the festival.
