AFTER decades working in real estate, not much surprises Les Donaldson.
But this week a Narre Warren North property valued at $9 million-plus certainly grabbed his attention.
The ‘Anketell Grove’ property, a 20-acre site on Harkaway Road, is regarded as one of the region’s finest equestrian estates, complete with six stables and a full manege.
Mr Donaldson, the owner of the family-run business Donaldson Martin & Co Estate Agents in Narre Warren, said while the price tag was high, the property was clearly unique.
“It’s a palatial place,” he said.
“It’s a very fine equestrian property.
“It’s very unique and looks to be in brilliant order.”
The property, which is near Balmoral Estate, is being sold by Peake Real Estate in Berwick and includes five bedrooms, four bathrooms and 12 car parking spaces.
The home itself is spread across 100 squares of living space and also features an indoor pool, which is adjacent to a fully serviced art studio.
A civil drainage system throughout the site ensures the entire property is watered from the dam and tanks, which have room for 600,000 litres of water storage.
Meanwhile, the property’s 45-square shed has been partially converted into a separate dwelling complete with a kitchen and bathroom, while the rest of the space can be used to store boat and trailer equipment.
