Cigarette thieves on the run

POLICE are hunting two thieves who stole a number of packs cigarettes and lighters from the Hampton Park Shopping Centre.
Detective Senior Sergeant Rob Clark said the two people broke into one of the shopping centre’s stores about 3.35am on Friday 19 March and stole a “significant quantity” of cigarettes and cigarette lighters.
One of the thieves was wearing a motorbike helmet and dark clothes at the time.
The other was wearing dark clothes, a beanie with a tassel, and a hoodie with a fluro vertical stripe on the back.
Det Sen Sgt Clark said one of the offenders was believed to have an “unusual gait”.
