POLICE are searching for a man who broke into a car in Berwick and used a stolen credit card to buy food.
Police allege an unknown man broke into the car parked in the driveway of a house on Lyall Road and stole a wallet, sometime between 11pm on Wednesday 2 March and 5am on Thursday 3 March.
A stolen credit card was later used to buy food and other items at several businesses in the Narre Warren and Dandenong South areas.
The unknown man was believed to be driving a dark Land Rover with stolen plates at the time.
Police have released some images of the unknown man and the car in the hope they can be identified.
