Drugs, weapons charges from police raids

A NARRE Warren man arrested following police raids across the south-east on Thursday 14 April has been charged with trafficking ecstasy and ice.
The 26-year-old was one of three men charged, all believed to members of the Mongols Outlaw Motorcycle Gang, as part of Operation Anorexigenic.
Members of the Casey Crime Investigation Unit, together with the Caulfield and Croydon Divisional Response Units seized firearms including a machine gun, ammunition, drugs, several police uniforms and prohibited weapons.
The Narre Warren man, who was also charged with weapons offences, was bailed.
Also charged were a 29-year-old Bentleigh East man with possessing a traffickable quantity of firearms, trafficking a drug of dependence and weapons offences.
He has been remanded to appear at Moorabbin Magistrates’ Court today.
A 29-year-old Bentleigh East man was charged and bailed with possessing steroids and a 24-year-old woman from Bentleigh East is expected to be charged on summons at a later date.
