See Bunjil Place take shape

TIME lapse video is being used to document the mammoth building effort which is underway at Narre Warren as Casey’s new civic and arts centre Bunjil Place takes shape.
When it is completed later this year Bunjil Place will include an 800 seat regional theatre; a studio to host touring exhibitions, functions, trade shows, smaller scale performances and events; a regional art gallery to showcase local, national and international art exhibitions; a function centre; up to 350 seat capacity, to host community functions, corporate and not-for-profit events; a community library and meeting rooms; a civic centre and council offices and a community plaza with a large outdoor screen similar to that in Federation Square.
The construction is creating more than 1200 jobs and injecting approximately $83.5 million in to the regional economy.
Once completed, the council expects there will be more than 1 million visitors to Bunjil Place each year.
