Expo helps make it all work

By CAM LUCADOU-WELLS

STUDENTS were given a glimpse of their futures at a careers expo at Berwick College on 26 July.
The college’s Years 9-12 students got the low-down from representatives from eight Victorian universities, four TAFEs and eight private providers, as well as Victoria Police at the all-day event.
The expo included sessions on making “career action plans” as well as career counselling to help students find the pathways to their desired vocations.
“The careers program at the college supports the students in identifying programs, subjects and certificates within school and beyond, related to their interests and/or career aspirations,” careers co-ordinator Karen Crawley said.
