POLICE have released images of a man they believe can assist in solving two daylight armed robberies in Rebound Court, Narre Warren, in June.
In the first robbery, an unknown masked man armed with a small handgun demanded cash and cigarettes in a tobacco shop, about 5pm on Saturday 11 June.
The attendant complied and the man left with the goods.
Police believe the same robber held up a Asian grocery store about 12.20pm the next day.
The man, again masked, threatened the staff member with a small firearm and fled with cash.
The robber is described as Caucasian, aged in his twenties with a medium build.
He was wearing a beige hoodie, dark track pants and thongs.
