A woman has died following a head-on collision in Narre Warren North.
The two-car collision occurred at Heatherton Road and Fairmont Court about 2.30pm on Friday 26 August.
Paramedics were unable to revive a female driver and she died at the scene.
Police arrested a 43-year-old Narre Warren man at the scene.
Road closures were in place, affecting east and west traffic along Heatherton Road from Hallam North Road to Jacques Road throughout peak hour.
Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives are investigating.
