A DRIVER of a long-unregistered Jeep seemed to have lived up to the words borne on the vehicle’s false number plates.
The man had been intercepted in his vehicle with plates IMANOB by Casey Highway Patrol on Pound Road, Hampton Park just after 5pm on 13 September.
He allegedly told police that the reason he was driving a car unregistered since December 2013 and fitted with false plates was “because I’m a nob” – with a clarifying gesture towards the plates.
The driver received a $777 penalty for driving an unregistered car and a $311 fine for displaying false plates.
Don’t hold back in this Jeep
