A sister mistook a male offender who was standing in her family room for her brother.

MISTAKEN identity has allowed two strangers to speed away after entering a Narre Warren South home last Sunday.
A female occupant mistook a man who was standing in her family room for her brother.
Meanwhile her brother was sitting in his car in the driveway and saw the man described as Asian walk out of his family home in Robinswood Parade, about 8.50pm on Sunday 18 September.
The 20-year-old female victim walked into the kitchen and didn’t realise the man was not her brother. She wasn’t injured or approached by the intruder.
The intruder got into a white Lexus which was being driven by a female, also described as Asian in appearance.
The brother followed the car in his own car and at the first set of lights they came to, he questioned the duo.
Detective Senior Sergeant Rob Clark said the offenders told the brother that they were at the house to “see someone”.
Nothing was stolen in the brazen intrusion.
