Magpies swoop

By David Nagel

A CLEAN sweep of all four senior netball premierships in the South East Football Netball League – Narre Warren had the perfect end to its season at Starling Road on Saturday.
A huge party was brewing as the Magpies B, C and D Grade champions joined the back-to-back A Grade stars on the premiership dais in the ultimate sign of domination.
Jade Heinrich, who co-coaches the A Grade team alongside her husband Greg, said the overall club success made it a very special day to remember.
“To win back-to-back flags in A Grade is fantastic, but it’s really hard to go past the great day for the whole club as the main achievement,” Jade said.
“It’s just amazing really, to have four senior sides in the grand final and for everyone to walk away happy, that’s a special achievement at any level of the game.
