THE Escapees Theatre Company has tapped into the “badass” criminal underworld in their latest production.
The play’s title Robin Deplace is in itself a neat play on words.
It focuses on a hapless man who contemplates a criminal rampage to pay back a large debt to a mafia-like family.
Soon this unemployed character’s life starts to intertwine with the family’s Don and a masked “super-criminal” King Crimson.
There’s language, adult themes and violence warnings for this show, rated unsuitable for children.
Robin Deplace is at Hallam Community Theatre, 74 Frawley Road, Hallam on 26-29 October, 7.30pm; $15
