POLICE are seeking the assistance of the public in locating a man who robbed a newsagency in Berwick on Thursday 10 November.
It is believed the man entered a shop on Park Hill Drive about 8pm and asked the staff member for a carton of cigarettes.
Upon being told the man’s brand of cigarettes was not in stock, he became agitated and forced his way behind the counter.
The man then proceeded to steal four cartons of cigarettes from the store before taking off on foot.
The shop attended described the thief as Caucasian in appearance and between late twenties to early thirties in age.
