POLICE have recovered two Canon EOS cameras after they executed a search warrant on a property in Narre Warren and are hoping to find the rightful owners of the equipment.
Police officers searched the house on Wednesday 23 November, and along with the cameras found a number of other stolen items.
An SD card was found in a camera bag, and police are hoping someone recognises the photos from family holidays in the USA from 2015 and French Island in 2016.
A man from Narre Warren South was charged with handling stolen goods, and remains in police custody.
Anyone who recognises the photos or has any related information is urged to contact the Oakleigh police station on 9567 8910.
