Police have released images in the hope of finding a man who allegedly sexually assaulted a 10-year-girl at Fountain Gate Shopping Centre on Princes Highway, Narre Warren.
The unknown man described as in his 60s and of European or Middle Eastern appearance approached the girl about 3.15pm on Wednesday 28 December.
He was wearing a light-coloured baseball cap, a green T-shirt with a black panel across the back, dark shorts with fluoro panels and grey and black sneakers.
He was seen pushing a red shopping cart.
Dandenong Sexual Offences and Child Abuse Investigation Team detectives released images of a man they believe can assist with their inquiries.
