Long road to sod turn

Works have begun on a $5.7 million upgrade of Hampton Primary School.
Narre Warren South MP Judith Couacaud Graley turned the first sods with parents, students and teachers on 4 May.
The redevelopment includes new STEM and art learning spaces, a resource hub for specialist programs, eight new teaching spaces and an administration wing.
Ms Graley said the long-deserved facilities were finally becoming a reality.
“The new state of the art facilities and learning environment will ensure that students are engaged, stimulated and supported to excel and reach for the stars.
“It has been a long road but we are now getting it done and I am just so pleased for each and every student that will benefit from these new facilities.”
