Drug charges laid

A man has been charged after being allegedly found with ecstasy and cocaine at a Narre Warren licensed venue early on 24 June.
Police searched the man and seized the drugs and cash from him during a check of the Lauderdale Road venue about 12.15am.
The 25-year-old Narre Warren man had been dealing drugs inside the venue, police were allegedly told.
During a search warrant of the man’s home in Jacksons Road, police allegedly seized more drugs, drug paraphernalia and a large amount of cash.
The man was charged with drug offences and possessing proceeds of crime.
He was bailed to appear at Dandenong Magistrates’ Court on 17 August.
