A man accused of armed robbery has been arrested by police detectives in a Fountain Gate shopping centre car park.
The 24-year-old Dandenong North man has been charged with 16 offences in Melbourne’s South-East over a two-week period, police say.
The charges also include aggravated burglary, theft and weapon offences committed between 20 July and 2 August.
The man was arrested by Casey CIU detectives about 1pm on 15 August.
Police then seized property while executing two search warrants in Dandenong North and Dandenong.
The man was remanded in custody and expected to appear in Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on 16 August.
