Two arrested in anti-bikie raids

Two men have been arrested during raids by Echo Taskforce detectives in Melbourne’s South-East.
Detectives executed search warrants in Huon Park Road, Cranbourne North, and Channelle Close, Hampton Park, early on 23 November.
The raids were part of an investigation into an alleged extortion of a 21-year-old Sandhurst man by associates of the Comanchero outlaw motorcycle gang, police say.
He was allegedly threatened and forced to make payments as part of a dispute involving a stolen motorcycle.
The black 2016 Harley Davidson V Rod with gold trim has yet to be recovered.
A 24-year-old Cranbourne North man and a 24-year-old Hampton Park man were arrested during the raids.
Police also allegedly seized a number of items of stolen property.
Both men were charged with extortion, handling stolen goods and theft.
The Hampton Park man was also charged with bail offences.
They were set to appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on 23 November.
Detectives are seeking information on the motorcycle’s location.
