A person has been hit by a train at Narre Warren.
Buses are replacing trains on the Pakenham line between Dandenong and Berwick due to the incident.
A Metro Trains spokesperson says buses will replace trains until at least 8pm and asks commuters to consider alternate transport.
Commuters should prepare for extra travel time of about 45 minutes.
Trains are continuing to operate between Flinders Street and Dandenong and between Berwick and Pakenham.
